To power the AI features within Fitprompt, specifically the personalized plan generation and the AI chat coach, we utilize the OpenAI API. Please be aware of the following:

• OpenAI API: Anonymized user data, specifically your onboarding answers (e.g., fitness goals, dietary preferences, activity level, gender, age range, weight range, height range – but NOT exact values or personally identifying information) and chat messages (stripped of any explicit personal identifiers you might accidentally include), are securely sent to the OpenAI API.
• Secure Proxy: This data transmission occurs through a secure Supabase Edge Function proxy. This proxy adds an additional layer of security and ensures that personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or device identifiers are NOT sent to OpenAI.
• OpenAI's use of data is governed by their own privacy policy. While we take measures to anonymize and proxy data, we encourage you to review OpenAI's Privacy Policy for more information.
